Our History

Electrical and Mechanical Systems Inc. started to serve Erie, PA. and the surrounding tri-state area in 1981.    For the past 22 years this small company that started out as the thoughts and hopes of one, has grown to employ 30 people.    In recent years we have completed projects in the Erie area such as: Hampton Inn (electrical, HVAC/R, and fire alarm, phone and communications cabling), Mercyhurst Preparatory School (fiber optics, cat5 cabling and terminations), Manchester Presbyterian Lodge (electric, HVAC, communications cabling), Kahkwa Club Sunset Room (electric, HVAC), and the list goes on.    If you would like more information on our job history you can call our office at (814)453-2518.    SAFETY is a primary concern of EMSI and all our employees are required to do their job in a safe and workman-like manner following OSHA regulations giving EMSI an exceptional safety record.    As we have grown we have managed to keep EMSI a family business.    We are a small business that takes care of large needs.
